When her father was assassinated, Lady Aramina swore revenge against the Duke of Caine. Leo Barrons, the Duke’s heir, has long been her nemesis, and when she discovers he’s illegitimate, she finally has leverage against the one man who troubles her heart and tempts her body.

Sentenced to death for his duplicity, Leo escapes by holding Aramina captive. A woman of mystery, she’s long driven him crazy with glimpses of a fiery passion that lurks beneath her icy veneer. He knows she’s hiding something; he doesn’t know it’s the key to saving his life.

Whats happening in Bec’s world?

Recently finished: The dirty draft on a paranormal/steampunk YA, tentatively titled Darkmeld.
Work in Progress: A paranormal serial I’m playing with in between the other jobs, the first in my Verwulfen Chronicles, a contemp that’s a little bit Fast and The Furious meets NA, and my Victorian sorcery romance.
Reading: Just realised I downloaded Beyond Addiction┬áby Kit Rocha on my Kindle and never got around to reading it! Yay, I feel like it’s Christmas again. This dark, sexy, dystopian series is not for the faint of heart but it’s utterly addictive.
Watching: Just finished The Originals series glom. I’m usually not in it for the good guys – aka Elijah – but man, he is one hunk of smouldering sexy. One of the things I enjoyed best about this show is that the females are just as kick-ass as the men in their own way, and I love how the female characters are so fascinating. Cami, despite being human and ‘weaker’ than the rest of the supernatural characters, is pure awesome; Davina is so powerful, but I love how she really is just a kid trying to work her way into adulthood, and Hayley really starts to come into herself when she takes over the Pack. Plus who doesn’t love an anti-hero like Klaus, with his f**ked up bro-love with Marcelle.
Life in General: The Victorian sorcery story finally found its gear last week, and 30,000 words later, I feel like I tried to do NaNo in a week. So tired now. But that particular muse keeps calling.
