On the 3rd Day of Christmas…

Another book I've recently read and really enjoyed was A Promise Of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. The first thing that caught my eye was that glorious cover. I had to have it.

Featuring the fierce Cat, who is a promised Kingmaker, it deals with her life when she's kidnapped by Griffin, who wants her to help his sister on the throne. I loved the greek mythology fantasy side of things, and Cat is powerful and not about to take things lying down.

And the second book in the series, Breath Of Fire, is due in January! I can't wait.
